In 2020 1st Choice and Evergreen in-home care services were purchased and merged by Almost Family LLC.
While both agencies provide two completely different services, they have one heart filling the need. Our Executive director Kristy Walters brings years of experience with in-home services for the elderly.
We feel with these two types of agencies working as one, we can take the best of both of these worlds and provide a superior service for our whole community.
Starting the summer of 2021, we will now officially change the name to Almost Family, LLC.
1st Choices original mission will continue under the management of Kristy Walters and her team.

Attendant Care

We provide fully trained Providers as needed for the Clients based on the agreed goals from the ISP.
We create daily tasks that are specific to the goals.
We monitor the progress and improve as needed.
Providers are direct employees of Almost Family and MUST always follow all Almost Families policies as written in our handbooks.

At Almost Family, we offer professional, reliable services to all of our clients. Our DSP's take all your specific requests into consideration and try to incorporate them into a community outing or event. From hiking Smith Rock to First Friday fun. We want to help build a strong foundation of community involvement.
Respite Care
Service You Can Trust
Sometimes full time caregivers or family members just need to get away and recharge! Respite care provides that opportunity.
From one 24 hour period to a full week, our DSP's can be authorized to provide that much needed respite service.
